A couple months ago, I scored a trumpet at a local garage sale in Winnipeg. Upon deep review, i decided to get this gem restored. It turns out this piece is from approximately 1908 and it is a New Wonder Model CGC Conn trumpet, fabricated by the elkhart incorporated company. When i purchased it, it wasn’t working, thanks to fine people at the accord Musical instruments

A few weeks ago I needed my daughter’s trumpet fixed because the sound wasn’t working properly and she had a band concert coming up. I phoned Long and McQuaid and they said it would take about 10 business days to get the instrument repaired.

I phoned Accord and the gentleman/owner of the place examined the instrument got the repairs done & cleaned it for me all within 3 hours.

He was very knowledgeable and friendly and will definitely be my first call if we need anything else done.

I think i am overcharged for saxophone rental. The paperwork they have given me do not make sense. I am paying CAD404 for 8 months of rental. That was my first time renting any instrument (usually i buy) but had feeling they kinda ripped me off knowing my daughter is super excited to start. Super unhappy and advice people to stick to long n mcquade as they can better serve in terms of customer service and transparency.

They go above and beyond to get your instrument fixed! Very fair with their pricing, they are very kind and friendly. And they fixed something Long and McQuade told me wasn't possible to fix and they did it in a short amount of time! Will definitely go there anytime I need something checked or fixed.

I recently brought in my custom Edward's bass trombone here for repairs as I dropped my slide by accident and it was in really rough shape. While I was at it I asked for some work to be done on my Axial Flow valves which needed some alignment and adjusting. Very much an emergency situation.

I use this instrument full time in the WSO as well as my other professional endeavours so I needed precision, speed, and exceptional quality work as Im very particular about my equipment.

Igor at accord really delivered in all of these ways. His prices are fair and excellent. He is very knowledgeable and performed the exact work i requested. The slide feels just like it did when I bought it at the Edwards factory and my valves feel excellent and efficient.

I haven't let a soul touch my instruments since Ron Partch retired in Toronto or P.O. in Montreal and its very nice to learn that there are still quality craftsmen in Canada.

Terrible customer service. I do not recommend this place for your child’s band instrument. The owner had offered a reduced monthly amount for a trumpet for my son to try as it was the only trumpet available. When I indicated to the owner that we would not be proceeding with Band in the 2023 fall school year, he charged me for the summer months which were supposed to be free according to our agreement. He then told me that I could pay $38.00 for the summer months at the reduced rate. Due to cancer and family illness, I was unable to return trumpet until end of September and he charged me $100.00. Do not trust this place. He was very rude to me about my family emergency situation, zero compassion and I would recommend to go somewhere else.

The two owners are lovely and they repaired my vintage C Melody Saxophone so that I could relearn and play. Great service and pricing. Way better detail and personal service than the big shops out there.
